Patitas, Spanish for “little paws” is MMC’s Pet Food Program! In providing hot meals to our unhoused community members, we immediately identified a large number of recipients were sharing their meals and water with their pets. In an effort to ensure that both meal recipients and their pets had access to food, we began sourcing pet kibble and water to distribute during our meal drop off’s. We are currently servicing unhoused dogs with personalized kibble and water allocations as needed according to each pets guardian.

For our unhoused community members, their pets are their best friends, protectors, companions, family members and play a crucial role in their lives. Please consider joining us in making food and water accessible to people and pets alike!
