Mom Chairs is a family owned event rental business in San Francisco’s Mission District and the founding family behind MMC. Having experienced food insecurity years before opening their business, MMC was born out of the family’s understanding and commitment to support their neighbors most impacted by the 2020 COVID-19 San Francisco stay in place order.
Mom Chairs provides vehicles, volunteers, and secures monetary donations and advocacy support from their network to directly support the sustainability of MMC.

Eterna Primavera Bakery (EPB) is a Guatemalan bakery specializing in Guatemalan pan dulce and Central American dishes. They are located in the heart of San Francisco’s Latino Cultural District and serve as a cultural anchor for the local Central American community.
EPB partners with MMC to provide hot meals on a weekly basis, and has welcomed MMC certified food handlers to prepare meal packs for unhoused community members, day laborers and serves as the pick up location for all SF, Daly City and South San Francisco meal deliveries.

El Faro SOMA is a Mexican owned taqueria located in San Francisco’s SOMA district. Originally owned by Febronio Ontivero, creator of theiconic Mission Super Burrito created in 1961, the family business’ legacy and contribution to San Francisco history continues under the leadership of his niece, Yolanda Ontivero’s.
We’re proud to partner with El Faro SOMA to provide hot meals on a bi-weekly basis and serving as one of MMC’s pick up location for SF, Daly City and South San Francisco meal deliveries.
La Guerrera’s Kitchen (LGK) is a
mother-daughter team serving their favorite recipes from their native Guerrero, Mexico, specializing in tamales, pozole, and barbacoa all from traditional family recipes.
LGK has partnered with Mission Meals to
serve as our East Bay anchor by providing hot meals on a weekly basis and preparing all orders on a weekly basis and their team prepare all orders for East Bay MMC volunteers providing deliveries.

Tacos El Precioso is a Mexican owned catering business in the East Bay. Chef Devin Gonzalez sources local ingredients and his relationships with farmers are a cornerstone of his
seasonal cuisine.
Tacos El Precioso has partnered with MMC to provide delicious meals for CALMA’s monthly Day Laborer Outreach programming.

Wild Pepper is a Chinese owned restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission District.
Wild Pepper was inaugurated as an MMC parter during our Summer 2020 partnership to provide hot meals to Children Council of San Francisco families. Since then, Wild Pepper has continued to partner with MMC to provide hot meals for MMC’s weekly distribution to local encampments, seniors and day laborers.
